I enjoyed this article about Vollenhoven. It was good to find out more about how his understanding of the unity of humans contrasted with the scholastic mindset that emphasises the immortal soul. I found it moving to read about Runner's appraisal of Vollenhoven. He could speak both to a child and a sophisticated philosopher. Very helpful!
