I had to re-listen to George's closing evaluative remarks in this lectures (months after I first listened to the whole thing), because they are so helpful. Learning history is not about judging who was right or and who was wrong, but rather about learning so that we ourselves may not become partisan but rather in learning examples of history so we are more informed to shape life according to God's word within our specific cultural context.
